A bingo fan from Colchester has scooped a £111,000 prize.
The factory worker - who has asked not to be named - was stunned when he completed a full house of 42 numbers, and was told how much he had won.
He claimed the National Bingo Game prize of £100,000, plus a regional prize of £11,100 and the house prize of £97.
The man and his wife were playing at Colchester's Gala bingo club in Osborne Street on Friday night when his numbers came up.
And now they are planning to buy a new bungalow.
The couple, who have two children and four grandchildren, have been Gala members since 1991 and play there once a week.
The National Bingo Game is played every night of the year, except Christmas Day, with two games on Saturdays.
Since it began in June 1986, £512 million has been paid out to lucky winners.
