Hoping to get back in the U's starting line-up - Kemal Izzet
And he will be hoping for that opportunity in tomorrow's Coca-Cola League One trip to Blackpool. The fans' favourite believes that with players like himself returning from injury the club's squad is getting stronger and stronger.
Izzet has missed two-and-a-half months with an ankle injury he suffered in a pre-season friendly against Watford.
But he is gradually returning to full fitness and is another name boss Phil Parkinson can call on.
Izzet told the Gazette: "We knew at the start of the season that if we were all fit we would be a team that could really challenge.
"So to get up to the position we're in (fifth), and to still have players like Karl Duguid and myself coming back into the fold, is a really big bonus."
