THE Royal British Legion showed its appreciation to a town that has mourned Colchester’s war dead.
The town's Legion branch visited Wootton Bassett to thank its counterparts for the dignity shown to corteges carrying soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Colchester RBL president Terry Sutton said Sunday's service of thanks was “a very sombre and reflective occasion”.
