THE motocross rider left with serious head injuries following a horror crash is in a stable condition in Queen's Hospital, Romford.
Stephen Woodiwiss, 47, from Tiptree, was involved with a collision with another biker during a race at Marks Tey on Sunday.
After receiving treatment from St John's Ambulance medics at the scene, he was flown via air ambulance to Queen's Hospital with a serious head injury.
It is understood that the other competitor in the crash, Bob Rolph, suffered a broken collar bone.
