A MAN and woman have been arrested in connection with the kidnap and rape of a teenage girl.
The pair were arrested this afternoon and are being questioned by detectives tonight about the rape and abduction of the 17-year-old girl in Clacton on March 1.
The teenager was walking along Rush Green Road when she was assaulted and bundled into the boot of a white saloon car.
She was taken to an unidentified boatyard or storage area and raped on board a boat before being driven to Pump Hill at St Osyth where she was released from her three-hour ordeal.
