EXPANDING in to a vacant doctors’ surgery will “secure the future” of a community centre in Colchester.
After lengthy negotiations, the Hythe Community Centre Association has signed a deal to use clinic space at the centre that has lain vacant since 2003.
The new rooms will be used to widen the range of activities run from the centre.
But the association have revived calls for medical facilities to be provided in the rapidly-growing area.
