Man wanted in connection with cable theft related offences

Network Rail has put up a £1,000 for anyone who could help trace him.

He is wanted in connection with offences relating to cable thefts which caused chaos on the railway line and left commuters fuming.

His name is Simon Paul Scott and he was arrested by police at the Boreham Interchange near Chelmsford on December 21, last year.

He is 42, originally from Leeds but of no fixed abode.

He was questioned and bailed to return to police on 26 January this year, but failed to appear.
