A BOOZED-UP girl who stripped off in Colchester’s High Street escaped police action because no one complained about her behaviour.
The half-naked girl was thrown out of one bar, then clambered on to a BMW before flashing her breasts, lifting her skirt and allegedly inviting passers-by to perform a sex act on her.
Police have admitted unless someone complained about her actions there was little they could have done.
The scenes were missed by CCTV, police and Army patrols, and street pastors, but were captured on a camera phone by a shocked passer-by.
The man, who asked not to be named, said: “It was appalling.
“The girl was clearly very drunk and just pulled up her skirt and clambered on to the roof of the car and began dancing about.”
Colchester Council said its town centre CCTV system spotted the girl after she was thrown out of the Yates’s bar nearby after allegedly putting on an impromptu strip show.
Two PCSOs were sent to the scene and spoke to the girl, who walked off with a friend.
Minutes later she clambered on to a blue BMW in the High Street and began dancing, leaving dents and scratches on it.
Sgt Rob Temme, of Colchester police, said: “The majority of those who visit the town’s clubs and pubs do act responsibly.”
Police said the owner of the BMW did not report the damage to his vehicle.
