STARRY-EYED youngsters are hoping to show Simon Cowell they have what it takes when they try out for a TV talent show.
Starz Performing Arts School, based in Winchester Road, Colchester, have been selected to audition for the fourth series of Britain’s Got Talent.
Forty members of the school’s Saturday workshop, aged four to 18, will travel to London on November 23 to vye for judge’s votes.
They plan to sing Alexandra Burke’s Hallelujah.
Claire Morris-Howells, group leader, said: “They are over the moon about auditioning. They really worked hard to prepare for it. I think they have a really good chance, but even the experience will be incredible for them.”
