A NIGHT of salsa dancing has raised £1,738 for a Colchester hospice.
The event, at the Assembly Rooms, in Dedham, was organised on behalf of the Sally Noyes Fund, in aid of St Helena Hospice.
About 100 people enjoyed an hour of salsa tuition and then put into practice what they learned, backed by an 11-piece band.
Chris Hill, hospice fundraising and marketing director, said: “We would like to thank everyone for all their hard work in organising the night.
“We are delighted everyone had such a wonderful night.”
