Woman injured by cyclist


A PENSIONER was left with a broken shoulder after being hit by a cyclist in Clacton.

The 68-year-old woman was crossing Station Road at about 3.30pm yesterday when the cyclist rode the wrong way down the one way street.

The man initially stopped to help but then fled the scene, leaving his black mountain bike.

Anyone who knows who the man is, or the cyclist himself, is urged to contact officers at Stanway Road Policing Unit on 0300 333 4444.

In line with Essex County Councils Health and Safety policy we much ban push-bikes on our streets immediatly, along with cars, pedestrians and oxygen.
