MEMBERS of a masonic lodge were thanked for raising more than £22,000 for charity.
Joshua Nunn Lodge, in Parsonage Street, Halstead, raised the money for the Essex masons’ 2011 festival, which distributes money raised to several masonic and non-masonic charities.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master John Michael Webb visited Halstead to present a certificate which makes the lodge a grand patron of the grand charity for the 2011 festival.
