Village set for garden weekend

GARDEN lovers will be flocking to Little Clacton for a village version of the Chelsea Flower show.

Little Clacton Home and Garden Show is being held on Saturday and Sunday, on the Parish Fields at Plough Corner.

The field will be awash with colour, with a plethora of plants and shrubs, demonstrations and gardening tips and accessories.

There will be lots to see including a schools gardening competition, an art exhibition, and experts will be on hand from Sworders Auction House, in Sudbury, to value antiques or collectables brought along by visitors.

There will be more than 50 trade stands including the Rural Crafts Association marquee, and several plant stalls.

There will be food available all day, including afternoon teas.

There will be entertainment for children including face painting and a bouncy castle.

Entry to the event from 10am-5pm which is aid of Little Clacton Parish fields is £3 for adults with children under 12 free.
