THE British National Party is set to contest elections in Tendring for the first time.
Last week the right-wing party, which put up a candidate for the first time in the Colchester Borough Council in May, announced it was to fight for seats in next year’s Essex County Council election.
But the north-east Essex group of the party, which had been dormant for many years, said it now has more than 100 members and is growing.
