BEER festival organisers rolled out the extra barrels to keep thirsty drinkers happy.
The 13th annual Clacton Beer Festival was at risk of running out of ales and extra supplies had to be drafted in.
Some 65 casks were got through – breaking all previous records.
The Tendring branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra), which organises the festival, is putting the success down to publicity and good weather helping to bring out the airshow crowds.
