Wivenhoe: Alert over spate of burglaries

BURGLARS have targeted churches, public buildings and shops in a series of break-ins.

Police are investigating six burglaries in Wivenhoe, and people living in the town have been warned to be on their guard.

Intruders have forced their way into the Methodist Church, Congregational Church, public library, railway station, pavilion and a hairdresser's.

What has happened to Wivenhoe? It used to be a lovely little place and now there are kids hanging around outside the coop, police cars there aswell. And now burglaries! Where are the parents?

blame the pot smoking parents from the village and that school in Brightlingsea.......

... you want to go over to king georges playing field...............

... the sad kids do not know how lucky they are to live in a place like Wivenhoe send them to Hackney for a day that will sort them out, if not Clacton will do the job! oh no they will come back chav'd up to the eyeballs

I also hear there are a group of scammers at work targeting local charities in the area.
