Cars are being diverted while faulty level crossing barriers are fixed.

The problem was reported at 9am today and is expected to be mended by midday.

Brilliant! Now road users are getting a taste of the systemic failings of the rail industry.

Enjoy it, us commuters have to put up with it every day.

Gideon you sound very bitter and twisted, Life is about choice and you choose to commute!

Too right I'm bitter, £3,600 per year for a sh*te service.

You're absolutely right. I could quit work and not commute. Then I'd be even further from being able to afford to buy a house, the rent wouldn't get paid, we'd have no money for food or heating. Eventually I'd become one of those homeless people you ignore on your way to buying a Daily Mail at the newsagents.

Do you honestly think I'd commute if I had a choice Roger?

like most commuters your bitter £3.600 for 12 months a year ...well lets have a close look that works out to £75 pound a week.. so if you commute on a 5 day a week thats £15 a day . so lets say a return commute is 120 miles your paying 12.5 p a mile and you can use your ticket 7 days a week .. and your moaning ??
you dont know how cheap your commuting is
now stop and think and stop moaning think about people like me and others who start work before the trains start running and are spending 12£ on petrol to get to work
ARNT YOU COMMUTERS LUKY

Yes, I could have put it better myself.

I agree with you, Dr G, Gideon is so greedy. I mean, £3600 a year for the priviledge of commuting to and from London every day so he can claim a massive wage. He is obviously a capitalist pig with no real idea of what life's about. Are you a real doctor? Only I've had this small growth on my little toe for about 3 months. It's hard and scaley. I tried to pick at it with a scissor blade but it refuses to budge. It doesn't hurt as such but if I wear my wolly socks when out hill walking, I find it sometimes goes red and has a slight whiff of boiled ham. Should I be worried? I tried to get an appointment at my local doctors, but they were having none of it. Apparently, I can't see anyone for nearly THREE WEEKS. It's disgusting. Please advise. Can I get it removed or should I do it myself? I have some stanley knife blades and was thinking of chopping it off. What do you think?
