YOUNG music fans braved the weather to enjoy a weekend-long music festival on Mersea Island.
More than 20 bands performed over three nights at Mersea Island Youth Camp during Cosmic Puffin.
The event was in aid of the of Puffin Ward at Basildon Hospital and the Children of St Mary's Intensive Care (Cosmic) ward in London.
Tickets were priced at only £10 to attract as many youngsters as possible, while the brave could pay an extra £5 to camp on site.
