Colchester: A12 accident causes delays

Drivers were facing rush hour delays following an accident on the A12 at Colchester.

One lane was blocked and traffic was forced to queue after what police described as a minor accident involving three cars on the northbound side of the ride at the Eight Ash Green and Tollgate Interchange.

A spokesman for Stanway traffic police said no-one was injured in the incident, which happened at 7.30am today.
