GUESTS spent their lunchtime dancing along to barbershop performers at a church concert.

The show was led by the singing group 4Front, made up of Roy Kidd-Stanton, Martin Bunting, Geoff Wells and Geoff White, performed with Dos Amigos at St Botolph's Church for an hour-long set.

The church in Balkerne Close, Colchester, was filled with music and everyone was invited to listen.

Margaret Willoughby, event organiser, said it was the last concert of the series.

She said: "As it was a big holiday week we had about 50 people, all the concerts are very varied and some often involved children playing instruments.

"The barbershop performers have been with us for four or five years and they are very popular."

Guests said the singers put on a spectacular performance and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Roy Kidd-Stanton, from the quartet, said: "I have been singing in quartets for over 40 years, and this quartet has been together for four or five years.

"We do various events such as charity events, we also go to WIs and care homes, and we enjoy ourselves.

"We sing old songs and it goes down very well.

"Martin from the quartet is part of the duo, Dos Amigos, as well."
