DAVID Lord ruled supreme as the seniors of the Essex Golf and Country Club competed in a high-scoring mid-week stableford contest.
In third place, with 38 stableford points, was Adrian Grubb, while Ray Mabbutt took second with 40 points.
Mabbutt saw his handicap cut from 20 to 19 on the back of his result and also receiving a handicap trim was Lord as he came down from 22 to 20 after winning the competition with 41 points.
Nearest the pin on the par three seventh hole was won by Bill Sharpe.
