A woman has been raped in Southend.
She was attacked on the Temple Farm Industrial Estate, off Chandlers Way, at around 11.20pm on Saturday, June 9.
She managed to get away and saw two men outside an industrial unit who she approached for help.
The suspect was described by the victim as white, around 6ft tall and bald with a large face.
He wore a red tracksuit with white stripes.
The 32-year-old victim has been safeguarded and is being supported by specialist officers.
Police have only just released the information to the Echo.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Andy Clarkson said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw a woman in distress around the Temple Farm Industrial Estate at this time.
“I would particularly like to speak with the two men who the victim spoke with directly after the assault.
"We believe they are key witnesses and may have vital information that could assist us in this investigation.
“Please contact myself or the Southend Crime and Public Protection Unit on 101, quoting reference 42/81175/18.”
