The show’s called Perfect Nonsense and this new Chameleon’s Web show has the perfect casting in Joseph Sales as the cool, calm and calculating Jeeves, and Paul Reed as the bumbling Bertie. With one of the brightest new acting talents on the scene in Peregrine Maturin-Baird playing Seppings, and directed by James Potter, this is definitely one not to be missed.

A trip down musical memory for those of a certain age as early nineties noise merchants Maniac Squat make a long overdue return to where it all started - well two of them anyway. The night also includes a chance to hear Colchester’s Ed Skyes debut single, Whiplashed.

One of the highlights of the town’s summer social calender is the rather wonderful spectacle of the Scottish Highlands coming to Colchester for the day with all that entails including bagpipes and Scottish dancing.

It’s the big one this weekend as the historic airfield celebrates the anniversary of the arrival of the 386th Bomb Group with their 80 B-26 Marauder aircraft and 3,000 men. Special guests, talks and presentations will fill the afternoon from the airfield’s new hall.
