THE Illegal Eagles turn 21 with their busiest year ever as they go back on the road to perform their heroes’ greatest hits.
The tribute band was formed back in 1997 by freelance percussionist Phil Aldridge, who had worked with the likes of Ben E King, Sister Sledge and The Four Tops.
Now with Trev Newnham, Mike Baker, Christian Phillips, Greg Webb, Garreth Hicklin and Tony Kiley in the line-up, they tour all over the world.
Including such classics as Hotel California, Take It Easy and Lyin’ Eyes, The Illegal Eagles are at Clacton’s Princes Theatre this Saturday, May 19, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £27, £26 for concessions, available from 01255 686633.
