LITTLE ones took part in an annual event to raise money for a children’s charity.
Pupils at Langham Pre-School braved the muddy puddle walk in a fundraising bid for Save the Children.
They splished and splashed alongside special guest Peppa Pig and raised £200 for the charity.
Mel Everett, manager at the School Road pre-school, said: “We had great fun taking part in the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk and jumping in puddles with our special guest Peppa Pig.
“It was a great way for us to get active and explore the world.
“By jumping in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig and raising money for Save the Children we can help give children a brighter future.
“We believe that every last child should get the chance to learn, play and grow up happy and healthy – no matter where they’re born.
“The money our little ones raise will help make this happen. We want to make a difference.”
Money was raised through sponsorship and the sale of chocolate “muddy puddle” cakes.
She said: “It is a great achievement for such a worthwhile cause and for a small rural pre-school in the village of Langham.”
An open morning will take place on Wednesday, May 23 between 9.30am and 11.30am.
