SISTERS were punched in the head and had clumps of hair pulled out in an attack onboard a train.
The pair were on the train which between Colchester North Station and Harwich Town where they were talking and laughing.
Two other women - who are believed to be mother and daughter - then approached them and said they would punch them if they did not shut up.
The group continued to argue until the two victims were punched in the head and body and had their hair ripped out.
They were left with bruises after the attack.
The attackers left the train at Harwich International.
The incident happened just before 6.10pm on Wednesday, March 14.
Police have released a CCTV image of two women they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
