TWO teenagers arrested during an investigation into a town centre stabbing have been released without charge.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, both from Colchester, were arrested after a man was left with a stab wound to the chest following an incident in Osborne Street on January 20.
They have now been released without charge having answered bail following their arrests on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in the week after the incident.
Two other people - Ben Goodspeed, 18, of Monkwick Avenue, Colchester, and a 17-year-old from the town who cannot be named for legal reasons - were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later charged with GBH with intent.
They will next appear in court in March.
