AN investigation has been launched to find the man who robbed a Colchester shop at knifepoint.
The armed suspect went into Martin McColl's in Five Fields Court, Greenstead, and demanded £40 cash from a female employee.
He has been described as white, aged between 35 and 40, about 5ft 8ins tall and of stocky build.
On Friday, February 2, when the robbery took place, he wore a grey hat and dark fleece coat with a white hooded top underneath, dark trousers and white trainers.
The shop was targeted just after 2pm.
Police officers want to speak to anyone who saw a man matching this description in the area at the time or saw what happened.
