Pedestrian hit by car
A CYCLIST has been hit by a car.
East Street is blocked westbound just before East Hill.
It is following an incident between a car and a pedestrian.
Traffic is back towards Ipswich Road.
It happened at about 2.30pm.
Update 3.45pm: The incident was between a car and a man on a bike.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew. They helped a man in his 30s who suffered cuts to his head. He was taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
