Christmas tree collections to raise money for charity
RESIDENTS in the district can have their Christmas tree collected and recycled in exchange for a charity donation.
As part of the JustHelping charity Christmas tree collection, people throughout Maldon, Burnham and the Dengie can offer a donation to Farleigh Hospice and have their tree taken away and recycled.
Collections will be taking place, on Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7, following the end of the 12 days of Christmas.
Volunteers travelling around the district will pick up unwanted trees.
