Police were called to the Beeches Road area by the ambulance services shortly after 6.45am.

An Essex Police spokesman said: “Sadly she died at the scene. Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Ms Lewis, Natalie’s mother, wrote on her Facebook page: “It is with unbearable sadness that I have to announce the sudden death of my beautiful, much adored daughter Natalie.”

She has launched an appeal urging anyone with information about her daughter’s sudden death to contact Essex Police.

She wrote: “Any little scrap of information may be more relevant than you imagine.

She asked anyone contacted by "Natty" on Thursday, December 14 between 8pm and midnight to get in touch with police.

She said her daughter’s iPhone was possibly missing and left on a train from London Liverpool Street to Ipswich.

She added: “Natalie is my only child, my mini-me. Please help me find out what happened to her in the hours before her death.”

Commons Deputy Speaker Lindsay Hoyle has said he is "truly devastated" by the death of his daughter Natalie.

The Labour MP said his family will never be the same following her death.

Chorley MP Mr Hoyle wrote on Twitter: "I am truly devastated by the death of our beautiful daughter Natalie.

"Our family will never be the same without our loving granddaughter, sister & aunty. Thank you for the kind support we've received it is overwhelming. Please continue to respect our privacy & allow us to grieve."

Anyone with any information should contact Essex Police Inspector Jon Louden at Essex Police on 101 referencing incident number 158.
