SANTA swapped his sleigh for a double decker bus to meet youngsters with his elves.
Father Christmas was at the Tollgate shopping centre in Stanway over the weekend.
Visitors were able to combine their shopping with a visit to the grotto on wheels and create their own postcard in the Christmas craft workshop.
There was also a range of seasonal treats on offer from a variety of food stalls.
Centre manager Giancarlo Ussi said: "This year Santa has swapped his sleigh for some wheels.
“While on board, our team of little helpers encouraged children to decorate their postcards which they can either take them home or give to Santa to take back to the North Pole.
“Christmas is all about spending time with the your nearest and dearest, so we were pleased to be offering all the family the chance to enjoy a range of free, creative festive activities.”
