POLICE have appealed to help find a man who exposed himself to two teenager girls.

The pair were in Hawthorne Avenue shortly after 4.30pm on Wednesday, November 22, when they saw a man exposing himself in an alleyway and acting indecently.

The man then walked towards the two girls, who were able to run-off. 

He is described as being white, around 5ft 5ins tall, of a large build and in his 40s.

He was wearing a grey jumper, green high-vis trousers and a grey beanie-style hat. 

The Gazette reported the incident in the days after it happened, and Essex Police have now launched a proactive appeal for information.

Anyone who saw a man matching this description in the area at the time of the incident, or has any information is asked to call Colchester police station on 101, quoting incident 808 of November 22.
