Man arrested after masked robbers threaten shop workers with a hammer and knife
A MAN has been arrested after two masked robbers threatened shop staff with a hammer and knife.
The raid saw two masked men enter Tesco, in St Christopher Road, on Tuesday, November 7, and threaten staff before leaving the shop with cash.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and is in police custody."
