COMPANIES which are part of a Witham business have taken part in a popular building show.

The Crittall Group companies, which has its headquarters in the town, were suppliers for BBC One's DIY SOS: The Big Build.

They provided a steel-framed window and doors for a charity support centre in Swansea in the episode which aired last Wednesday.

Stuart Judge, managing director of the Crittall Group of companies, said: "We are delighted to be again supporting the DIY SOS: Big Build programme.

"To being part of this amazing project and actively involved in the build providing the facilities for this excellent charity.

"It's great to see our products, and the expertise of our teams across the Crittall Group working together, all contributing with other companies to what is a much-needed support centre for children and young people in, or leaving, foster care in the Swansea area."

The show had just 11 days to build a brand new support centre which had attached flats.

The company previously supported DIY SOS by donating steel-framed doors to a family from Kent in June.
