A WOMAN who admitted stealing hundreds of thousands of pounds from her parents while they were on dream European holiday is due to be sentenced today.
Melissa Humphreys, 33, abused her parents’ trust when they left their finances in her hands after selling their home and venturing to Spain.
In September, she was warned she could be jailed after admitting 12 counts of fraud using MBNA credit cards, and one count of obtaining property by deception, using the same type of card, in 2006.
She is due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court today.
