POLICE are hunting for a gunman after a man was shot at yesterday evening.
At around 8.35pm on Wednesday, November 15 a man reported being shot at in Beach Road, Clacton.
Police later located two cars and the people inside were arrested including a 24 year-old man, a 27 year-old man and a 28 year-old man.
They were all from London and were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms offences.
A 23 year-old man from Clacton and a 26 year-old woman from Great Bentley were also arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of firearms offences.
All five remain in custody.
Police believe this is a targeted attack and there is no risk to the wider public. Police are looking for anyone who witnessed the incident who may have any footage or may have any information about it to contact Clacton CID on 101 quoting incident 1004 of 15/11.
