STEPHEN George Johnson’s picture of All Saints Church in Brightlingsea (below) has been selected as the winner of our first Gazette Camera Club competition.
We asked members of our camera club to take pictures of iconic buildings in north Essex in September.
We received a stunning selection on the group’s Facebook page and these were our favourites.
Stephen’s snap of the church in his hometown really captured an atmospheric autumn scene.
He wins £20 in bonusbond.com gift vouchers.
We have launched our November competition: Funny critters.
Sharon Raubach-Shrimpton, camera club administrator, said: “Ever taken an innocent image of a bug, bird or animal and looked at it and giggled?
“Take all the time you need but be sure all your images are popped onto the pinned post which can be found at the top of the page and be sure you upload them before the end of November.
“Be sure to tell us where you took the image.”
