A CHOCOLATE shop, perfume store and design shop are set to move to Colchester.

M&G Real Estate has now fully let its Culver Square shopping complex and three new deals have been agreed.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Hotel Chocolat and The Fragrance Shop are expected to move in although dates have not yet been confirmed.

Global Danish design retailer, Flying Tiger, and Hotel Chocolat are on ten year leases.

Both shops will be moving into the old Gap store, which closed its doors last summer.

The Fragrance Shop is on a five year lease and will move into a new unit.

Rupert Milne, asset manager at M&G Real Estate, said: “By reaching full capacity, it is clear Culver Square is meeting the needs of evolving occupiers by offering modern retail spaces.”

The businesses said they were excited to be moving into the town. Peter Harris, co-founder at Hotel Chocolat, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our portfolio with the launch of our first café store in Colchester.

“It promises to offer customers the perfect retreat, serving our signature cocoa- based drinks.”

The long-awaited Primark store opened in Culver Square at the beginning of the year.
