A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been quizzed on the alleged assault of Colchester Council park ranger. 

The teen was arrested on suspicion of the attack, which took place on Monday, April 10, as the ranger was locking the gates to Castle Park.

A group of teenagers approached the man before kicking and punching him.

The ranger also had drink thrown over him.

The boy was initially released by police under investigation but has since been released without charge.
