Police want to speak to the men in the CCTV images about an incident where a 57-year-old woman was defrauded after having her purse stolen.
The victim had her purse stolen whilst she was shopping at the South Woodham Ferrers Asda store on Queen Elizabeth 11 Square, between 3.30pm and 3.50pm on Saturday, September 2.
A man approached the victim and whilst distracting her, took the purse from her handbag.
The victim’s bankcard was later used to make a number of contactless payments at various locations.
It is believed the man who took the victim's purse was with a second man, also pictured.
Police are now asking the public if they can identify these men.
Anyone who recognises either of these individuals or has any information is asked to contact Pc Andrew Quinn at Chelmsford police station on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
