THE world famous Oktoberfest will arrive in Colchester next month for the very first time.
Taking place inside one of Europe's largest beer tents, the Bavarian-style festival will also boast some of the best Oompah bands from around the world.
As well as plenty of steins, there will also be a large selection of traditional German foods.
The event takes place in Castle Park on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.

Sessions times
Friday - 6pm-11pm
Saturday - 12pm-5pm
Saturday evening - 6pm-11pm.
The festival originates in Munich and, ironically, officially begins tomorrow.
It is said to have originally celebrated the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig's marriage to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen in 1810.
