A TEN-year-old bracing herself for a 22-mile charity swim has been praised.
Colchester’s MP Will Quince sent Sadie Rowe a letter giving the swimmer a thumbs up.
Sadie will complete the Aspire swim in just four weeks next month.
Mr Quince said: “It’s so encouraging to see the young people of Colchester been so selfless and showing such generosity to charities like Aspire.
“It’s impressive you have accepted such a challenge at such a young age.
“A great deal of training, commitment and determination will be required, and I wanted to write to wish you all the best.”
Sadie has raised £675, exceeding her £350 target.
