THOUSANDS of people have been enjoying a free military show at Colchester Garrison's open day today.
Soldiers of the British Army's rapid reaction force were the stars.
The event has been showcasing the equipment and skills of Colchester-based 16 Air Assault Brigade.
Highlights have included displays by the Parachute Regiment's Red Devils freefall team and the White Helmets - the Royal Corps of Signals motorcycle team - and music from the Band of the Parachute Regiment.
