REGISTRATION is now open for this year’s Cycle for Life in aid of Farleigh Hospice.

On Sunday July 17, cyclists will embark upon a 20km, 50km, or 100km route that takes them from Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford through the stunning countryside of Essex, including areas of Maldon, and back again.

The money raised from Cycle for Life will help us to provide much needed care and support to families across mid Essex affected by life-limiting illnesses.

Last year, 752 cyclists hit the roads of Essex and together raised more than £80,000 for the charity.

Farleigh Hospice's services each day cost them £16,039 to run. In 2016 and 2017 so far, they have provided car and support free of charge to 8,257 people.

Cycle for Life is generously supported by local accountancy firm MacIntyre Hudson, who have been sponsoring the event for the past 12 years.
