FIRE crews closed a road and brought in a crane to rescue a cat from the roof of the old Odeon.
Crews were called out at 8.45am and had rescued the cat by 10am.
The road has now re-opened.
A post is circulating on Facebook to try and find the cat's owner. It is now safe and well and being looked after by a shopkeeper in Crouch Street.
More to follow.
