DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays on key roads as a series of works are undertaken.
Work will be carried out to repair potholes on the A120 between Marks Tey and Braintree next week.
One lane will be closed overnight between 7pm and 4am between Monday and Friday to allow the patching work to be completed.
In addition, resurfacing and lighting maintenance work will take place on part of the A120 between Marks Tey and Coggeshall between 8pm and 6am from Monday until Saturday morning.
Temporary traffic lights will be in use overnight while the work takes place.
And there will also be work carried out on the Ewell Bridge over the A12 near Kelvedon.
The bridge is closed for repairs and pedestrians are being advised to use the alternative route via Windmill Hill, Highfields Lane, Maldon Road and Ewell Hall Chase.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A120 near Wix while work is carried out on drainage maintenance.
A 40mph speed limit will be in place overnight between 8pm and 5am from Monday for five nights.
