THOUSANDS turned up to watch a battle re-enactment at an annual wartime event.
More than 900 actors took part in the third Temple of War at the weekend at Cressing Temple Barns.
There were also shows, stalls and vehicle displays.
Glen Caton, one of the organisers, said: “It went really well and the feedback we had was just unbelievable.
“There were in the region of 4,000 people and the reenactment went down a storm. The public thoroughly enjoyed it and so many people left us comments about the educational side of it.”
Organisers made limited lapel pins to raise money for Support our Paras, Help for Heroes and Walking with the Wounded.
