CLACTON Library will be taking people on a virtual dementia tour during a special drop-in session on Thursday.
Social workers from Essex County Council will give visitors a unique and humbling insight into what it is like to live with dementia and the difficulties sufferers face doing everyday tasks.
The session, from 10am to 1pm, will also offer information on local and national services with practical help and advice for dementia sufferers and their carers.
Information will be delivered by health professionals and charities, like Care UK, Age UK Essex, Tendring Eldercare, Inclusive Communication in Essex and the Alzheimer’s Society, who offer advice, support and equipment.
The Bookrest Café will be open in the library for refreshments.
