POLICE are appealing for help to trace a driver after a teenage girl was struck by a car in Clacton.
Officers said they would like to speak to the man in connection with an incident in Oxford Road on Sunday.
A 13-year-old girl crossed the road near to Travis Perkins and was struck by a small blue car.
A spokesman Essex Police said: "The car was reported to have stopped briefly and a man spoke with the girl before returning to the car and driving off.
"The man is described as white, with grey hair and is thought to be in his 40s.
"The girl was treated for minor injuries."
